U.K. To Suffer From Far Too Many Stars
Skywatchers in Great Britain as well as the USA experienced a number of fascinating bright lights in the heavens as excitement grew around an event taking place in the night sky. Guesswork around the UFOs is still mounting, but the actual answer to the concern of what is taking place overhead in the skies above England and portions of Europe and North America is not as hard to answer as one might imagine. Instead, Elon Musk’s SpaceX is taking the credit for supplying one of the most stunning series of lights ever found in the night time skies covering Europe.
A fairly simple answer will tell us where these peculiar lights came from. Through the last several months, Elon Musk’s SpaceX has been putting satellites in to orbit. The BBC, the last group of 60 satellites from 300 previously launched by the South African tech entrepreneur had been launched in March 2020 and are now very easy to find in the night sky.
The batch of satellites are in an orbit which ranges from 180 miles above the surface of the planet to 340 miles and their current position in relation to the Sun making them quite easy to see. Each group of satellites is about the size of a car flattened and also has a big solar reflector that is visible to skywatchers in April 2020 as sunlight reflects off of the surface of the solar panels.
